Finally We Found Our Sanctuary!

The birth of this site came along after months n years (ok lah …about 3 years only) of waiting & searching..before we finally chanced upon an almost ideal sanctury of our own. Yeash ..a place we can finally called it OUR HOME!We have had viewed so so many HDB flats – both new & old in Bishan estate, AMK, Yishun & Sembawang, but to no avail, namely, we over-qualified HDB’s stipulated income ceiling and the latter..prices of re-sale HDB flats were going up north, with COV demanding as high as almost up to $50K…crazy..! If we really had that kind of money we could have use it on renovating & furnishing the house! 

Eventually, we resort to the next form of housing…Executive Condominium (E.C) or rather resale E.C. After doing much calculations & evaluation, we found that it has the best of both a 99- year leasehold property and a HDB flat…& comparable to them as well, although buying the former wasn’t our consideration at the every beginning.

Without much delay, we informed our property agent and requested to view some the E.C properties that are in the vicinity of Sembawang estate. Within a short span of 3 months (June – Sept), prices of those E.C., which we had viewed soared like crazy…a diff of $50K! O.M.G…it is at this time, when we decided that either we buy now or never…n so whatever happened after this is all the nitty gritty paper work…lor…I shall spare u guys from it..
